It is clear that since the fourteenth century, the West has posed itself as a formidable obstacle to the development of Africa. Yesterday, exclusion of African peoples from humanity, today, chosen immigration, pandemic diseases, immoral structural adjustment programs. And "co-development" is offered shamelessly as a miracle solution to countries that are voluntarily overexploited, made very poor and very indebted.
This infernal political and economic context plunged nearly 400 million young Africans into absolute despair, on the very soil of their ancestors. However, at the start of the twenty-first century, we can see that new geostrategic and geopolitical continental masses are taking shape and taking shape in today's world. Other political paradigms are therefore possible and even impose themselves on Africans urgently, in the wake of powerful patriotic and pan-African African leaders: Marcus Garvey, WE
Du Bois, Gamal Abdel Nasser, Kwame Nkrumah, Julius Nyerere, Jomo Kenyatta, Barthélemy Boganda, Patrice Lumumba, Amilcar Cabral, Modibo Keita, Cheikh Anta Diop, Steve Biko, Ossende Afana, Thomas Sankara. By taking the world to witness, the current suffering of African Youth must give birth to the historical ground of the African Renaissance, for the construction of the continental African federal state.
This is the essence of the reason and the emotion of this Appeal to African Youth, by the illustrious Egyptologist Théophile Obenga.
