Positive anthropology

Here is the reissue of the controversial work of a Haitian author who settles accounts with the doctrinaires of racial inequality in the scientific world of the second half of the 19th century, who mainly practiced physical anthropology. Against these pseudo-scientists, the author defines a critical, social and cultural anthropology which intends to scientifically prove, by a positivist approach, the equality of all human races and their perfectibility. The author reassesses here the essential role of African cultures in the history of civilization, from the Egyptians to the first black Republic of Haiti.
