With great humility and simplicity, El Hadj Ngom teaches us about the life of a leper, lived from within. This man overwhelmed with a tunic of furious skin, is henceforth promised to take his place among the Great of the world, clothed in his tunic of light, so that his spirit will shine forever. This work is also the story of the commitment of a woman who sacrificed a lot, to serve these human beings called lepers, often forgotten, while much of the world lives in opulence and pleasure. Stéphanie Chevillon created the "Yakar Mbaan" association in 2008, to take over the activities of Christian Bompard, founder of the "Construire" association in the 1960s. Part of the rights to this work will be transferred to the “Yakar Mbaan” association, in order to further help eradicate this terrible scourge of leprosy. (Mathias Ollivier)

This book also contains an open letter to Mr. Abdoulaye Wade, President of the Republic of Senegal, calling for a modification of the law, to put an end to the confinement of lepers. --Info for Press Cover

President A.Wade announced via the Senegalese Embassy in Paris that he would personally deliver his book to El Hadj Ngom very soon. --Art-Access Communication
