Tarana is the name used before the European conquests to designate their continent by the native Africans who remained across the Atlantic, but in contact with the Africa of their origins thanks to a permanent secular navigation. These native African populations are the founders of the great pre-Columbian civilizations, of the "Giant Negro Heads" that Christopher Columbus will discover. These same native populations will resist from 1492 to the white and black mercenary conquistadors.
