Understanding the different mechanisms aimed at maintaining Western European white supremacy will allow Africans and Afro-descendants to understand their enemies in order to provide an appropriate response to their actions. Understanding that Europe is by no means an ultimate benchmark and that it is leading the world to its ruin puts us in the urgent need to reconnect with our ancestral vision of the world, the path by which we can rebuild ourselves, find the appropriate solutions to our problems and thus achieve our self-determination. Reading Marimba Ani's work will undoubtedly be painful for us who have been trained to think Westerner. But our release on all fronts is well worth it.
